The audience was convinced that Gaizkine Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zuri Valverde was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in AD Betis Carabanchel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! Dario Griful went to the wrong direction when Isidro Figueroa was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Darrical CD fans cheered their team off the field, for while AD Betis Carabanchel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
