In the 8th minute Presebal Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Coira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Valentín Saboya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Porrosillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentín Saboya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomualdo Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Derwin March tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Famorca's Derwin March got control of the ball when Valentín Saboya tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the El Porrosillo defense, Ferdinand Coira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Sanz. The El Porrosillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Sanz should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Presebal Alabern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Sanz was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Presebal Alabern in the 38th minute of play forced El Porrosillo's goalkeeper Arturo Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Presebal Alabern, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Valentín Saboya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derwin March having to interfere. Valentín Saboya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Derwin March made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentín Saboya made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Famorca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pere Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Derwin March showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xian Feliu in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Famorca getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jacinto Martin hit a great ball. Valentín Saboya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Derwin March tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ferdinand Coira came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Famorca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Coira couldn't finish the play. Famorca's Ferdinand Coira got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Sánchez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Famorca's Gerardo Sánchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 78 played minutes Famorca got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Sánchez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentín Saboya in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derwin March prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derwin March stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentín Saboya's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Famorca's Ferdinand Coira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Presebal Alabern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Arturo Sanz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Coira in the 88th minute of play forced El Porrosillo's goalkeeper Arturo Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Coira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Sanz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Famorca's Presebal Alabern. But to his dismay, Presebal Alabern quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. El Porrosillo's Ugaitz Quintanilla was substituted for Xepe Doblas. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Famorca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
