Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gorri Cienfuegos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Marcenado FC's goalkeeper Cebo Albizua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aitor Rivera. Arsenio Abascal helped the player get up and apologised. 5 minutes into the game, one of Marcenado FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute, La Mediana SD got a penalty, and Xano Viqueira placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The supporters of La Mediana SD booed when Marcenado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polo España didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mediana SD's goalkeeper Domenico Arribas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aitor Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Mediana SD's zone, Ernesto Redondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Arribas came out of the goal and Ernesto Redondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mediana SD's goalkeeper Domenico Arribas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cebo Albizua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aintza Albizua in the 29th minute of the match. Domenico Arribas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Redondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, La Mediana SD's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Redondo came free, but Domenico Arribas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Behe Flores couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Xano Viqueira from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Cebo Albizua's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilio Bermejo to make the kick off. Eusebio Pastor hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Gorri Cienfuegos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gorri Cienfuegos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Marcenado FC fans jumped to their feet.
