Julepe's Fernando Sobera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Gimeno in the 3rd minute of play. Eliazar Abellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aranguiz Valdivia in the 5th minute of play. Marco Mayol charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Mayol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Marco Mayol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Julepe's Gabino Barro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bernardo Litago hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Alonso Gimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heriberto Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Julepe getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bernardo Litago hit a great ball. Alonso Gimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Sobera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Son Gap FC booed when Julepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giro Munoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heriberto Herrera to strike the kick off in the second half. When Vitin Ocaña fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Son Gap FC's protests and gave Vitin Ocaña a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Julepe booed when Son Gap FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitin Ocaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Herrera in the 57th minute of play forced Son Gap FC's goalkeeper Eliazar Abellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alonso Gimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heriberto Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Sobera having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Flor Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Sobera. Julepe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flor Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Flor Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Flor Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Son Gap FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flor Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Sobera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Julepe getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pascual Montes hit a great ball. Heriberto Herreras short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Fernando Sobera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Son Gap FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
