Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) MLM's Tomás Quadros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Masmolets AFC defense, Tomás Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Furman Pena. The Masmolets AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Furman Pena should have stopped the shot. In the 5th minute, Gartzea Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Candido Valerón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Henrik Tidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MLM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Tidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis-Antonio Obis during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Masmolets AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Antonio Obis to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Camara might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Furman Pena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Camara ran back to his position shaking his head. Magdaleno Sirvent hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gartzea Vera charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gartzea Vera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Henrik Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernan Peña came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Masmolets AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Peña couldn't finish the play. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Peña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furman Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Masmolets AFC's Furman Pena got control of the ball when Henrik Tidén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Furman Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Masmolets AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Peña to maneuver through the defense. Furman Pena was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henrik Tidén. After 44 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Candido Valerón. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eligio Jofre to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MLM booed when Masmolets AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eligio Jofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MLM's Brun Mangas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. MLM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henrik Tidén in the 55th minute. Gartzea Vera was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 58 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Gartzea Vera. Furman Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Quadros in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Furman Pena saved Masmolets AFC from getting behind. The supporters of MLM booed when Masmolets AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gartzea Vera in the 66th minute of play forced Masmolets AFC's goalkeeper Furman Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Tomás Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furman Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cebrián Lillo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. MLM made a substitution. Patxi Climent replaced Candido Valerón. MLM made a substitution. Orlo Freire replaced Charro Alavedra. Furman Pena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gartzea Vera's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Masmolets AFC's Furman Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Tidén in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, MLM's Tomás Quadros made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Furman Pena was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MLM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Masmolets AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
