The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Morgan Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Cazeneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Morgan Odman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bob Cazeneuve was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Henrik Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Anu Fc getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Amerigo Durango hit a great ball. Tomás Quadros took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Fernandez. Igor Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Igor Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Quadros went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 21 in the game by Henrik Tidén from a close distance when the talented Igor Fernandez managed to make a qualified save. Anu Fc's players were relieved. Igor Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Quadros in the 23rd minute. Igor Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Quadros in the 25th minute of the match. Henrik Tidéns short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Igor Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bob Cazeneuve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perrando Bargas in the 33rd minute of the match. Henrik Tidén shot from long distance in the 35th minute, but Igor Fernandez was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. MLM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Valerón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Perrando Bargas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Anu Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perrando Bargas couldn't finish the play. Igor Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Quadros to make the kick off. MLM's Henrik Tidén got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Valerón in the 55th minute of the match. Perrando Bargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Tidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Igor Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anu Fc's Arbidel Diaz was substituted for Morgan Odman. Igor Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 65th minute of play. Perrando Bargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bob Cazeneuve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perrando Bargas ran back to his position shaking his head. MLM's Quirce Torrent was substituted for Candido Valerón. MLM made a substitution. Orlo Freire replaced Charro Alavedra. MLM made a substitution. Patxi Climent replaced Adolfo Camara. In the 71st minute, Perrando Bargas made a precise shot to the right of Bob Cazeneuve. MLM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 74th minute Tomás Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the game Harri Saravo made a throw-in which Perrando Bargas played forward. The supporters of MLM booed when Anu Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perrando Bargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Quadros might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Quadros ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Henrik Tidén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MLM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. There was no doubt that MLM were the better team. MLM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
