Albino Guijarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerardo Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lluc Casanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Pascual Sacristán mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Pinatell De Rojals and the Vellisca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Pinatell De Rojals getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Pascual Sacristán hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
