Basilio Casanova charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Casanova the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes SNG FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Casanova. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garci Tormes during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of SNG FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Español:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for El Español. Ximen Sirvent stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mero Llorente. 0-1. Pericles Esteban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Xorxe Jauregui took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rey Ramirez to make any attempt to save it. When Ramón Higuera came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the El Español fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Higuera couldn't finish the play. When Erasmo Montes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Español's protests and gave Erasmo Montes a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes El Español got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Montes. El Español's Rey Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Barro in the 36th minute of play. Basilio Casanova succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 38th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Ramón Higuera made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ramón Higuera managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Higuera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mero Llorente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mero Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Pacheco in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, El Español's goal looked a bit too open when Xorxe Jauregui came free, but Rey Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Pacheco in the 59th minute of play forced SNG FC's goalkeeper Mero Llorente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rey Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Jauregui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rey Ramirez came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by SNG FC's Basilio Casanova. But to his dismay, Basilio Casanova quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After some careless play in the El Español defense, Basilio Casanova kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rey Ramirez. The El Español fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rey Ramirez should have stopped the shot. In the 66th match minute, El Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Torres to maneuver through the defense. If Pericles Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Erasmo Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manuel Darroja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mero Llorente having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Ramón Higuera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mero Llorente. The goal made the score 5-3. Pericles Esteban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rey Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Archibaldo Dobale kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SNG FC had won after a very even match.
