Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnaitz Zubizarreta took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alonso Doblas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Mergildo Sancho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnaitz Zubizarreta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Angelo Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Guijarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonso Doblas got free with Mergildo Sancho in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the TGN Academy defense, Alonso Doblas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mergildo Sancho. The TGN Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mergildo Sancho should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Vellisca FC's Mergildo Sancho threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnaitz Zubizarreta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnaitz Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mergildo Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Arnaitz Zubizarreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mergildo Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Adrián Huarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TGN Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vellisca FC the free kick. Adrián Huarte kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Vellisca FC's Arnaitz Zubizarreta managed to work through TGN Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Arnaitz Zubizarreta dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Vellisca FC's zone, Dagoberto Segura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Guijarro came out of the goal and Dagoberto Segura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, TGN Academy's Adrián Huarte got a free kick in the 27th minute. Colas Serena kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Amor Estruch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mergildo Sancho. TGN Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Segura in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Guijarro saved Vellisca FC from getting behind. Mergildo Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dagoberto Segura scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Guijarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Guijarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Segura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Nunez in the 44th minute of play forced Vellisca FC's goalkeeper Albino Guijarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Dagoberto Segura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonso Doblas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Mergildo Sancho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Nunez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Vellisca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larpe Beloki to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's Tato Mayol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mergildo Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 57th minute of play. When Vellisca FC's Alonso Doblas in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TGN Academy's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Alonso Doblas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of TGN Academy's Mergildo Sancho. Mergildo Sancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Adrián Huarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Segura charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Segura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TGN Academy's Dagoberto Segura got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Vellisca FC's Albino Guijarro got control of the ball when Dagoberto Segura tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Alonso Doblas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vellisca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonso Doblas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Nunez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Guijarro having to make a save. If Dagoberto Segura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Arnaitz Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mergildo Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Doblas in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, TGN Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Doblas came free, but Mergildo Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vellisca FC's Albino Guijarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Nunez in the 95th minute of play. Vellisca FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
