Arbas Leyva scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Guijarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Arbas Leyva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calonge De Segarra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vellisca FC the free kick. The tension between the Calonge De Segarra and the Vellisca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Calonge De Segarra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vincente Higuera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaitz Zubizarreta in the 90th minute of play. During the 92nd minute of the match Gilberto Barro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilberto Barro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, Vellisca FC's Albino Guijarro got control of the ball when Leandro Cardeñosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaitz Zubizarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincente Higuera having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
