Michel Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cresitobalo Ballesteros in the 8th minute of the match. If Cresitobalo Ballesteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baraxil Adán during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Velilla De Ebro booed when Kewell Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baraxil Adán didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Barral in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Zbydniewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Prudencio Sevilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Barral struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Konrad Zbydniewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kewell Team. When Isidro Barral came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kewell Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Barral couldn't finish the play. Amuruza Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Liberto Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Konrad Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
52 minutes into the game, Isidro Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kewell Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velilla De Ebro the free kick. 57 minutes into the match, Velilla De Ebro's goalkeeper Konrad Zbydniewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Barral. Liberto Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Michel Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Briso in the 67th minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
