The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zeru Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boni Companys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Zeru Peña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Leopoldo Vallejo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zeru Peña to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th minute, Clemencin santillana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Veremundo Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Sistodn's Mario Gil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeru Peña. Zeru Peña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The Sistodn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidor Pedraza should have stopped the shot. Jorge Cano took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeru Peña. Zeru Peña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Zeru Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Vallejo in the 34th minute of play. Isidor Pedraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemencin santillana in the 38th minute of play. Mario Gil's late challenge caught a SPL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Gil helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Cano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zeru Peña firmly grabbed it by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veremundo Alcantara made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemencin santillana during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Veremundo Alcantara came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SPL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veremundo Alcantara couldn't finish the play. If Leopoldo Vallejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the SPL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sistodn.
