After a rather tough play, Brion F.C.'s Dagoberto Lacorte got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Isandro Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Quintin Urbieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintin Urbieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veremundo Alcantara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SPL's Zeru Peña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SPL from getting a goal against them. SPL's Zeru Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Baeza in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SPL's Clemencin santillana got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Donatello Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zeru Peña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veremundo Alcantara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintin Urbieta having to interfere. If Isandro Erosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute of the match Nofre Mangas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeru Peña skillfully saved the ball. 43 minutes into the match, SPL's goal looked a bit too open when Nevada Baeza came free, but Zeru Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brion F.C.'s goalkeeper Quintin Urbieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SPL! 1-1 came through a penalty shot after 49 played minutes, when Brion F.C.:s Berbiz Estruch calmly waited for SPL:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veremundo Alcantara made a kick off. If Dagoberto Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nevada Baeza kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Clemencin santillana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Veremundo Alcantara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veremundo Alcantara in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintin Urbieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isandro Erosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quintin Urbieta having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Clemencin santillana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Veremundo Alcantara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th match minute, SPL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemencin santillana to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Brion F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Veremundo Alcantara came free, but Quintin Urbieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Brion F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dagoberto Lacorte hit a great ball. When the match was over SPL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brion F.C. throughout the match.
