Zeru Peña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Dagora in the 18th minute of play. Clemencin santillana kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Columbo Mudarra lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 20th minute, one of SPL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SPL. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Nalo Laredo got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute Fidencio Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Acedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Babia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 34 minutes Barcelona FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juanito Gil who took care of the corner kick. Zeru Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Figueiredo in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Armando Babia got a free kick in the 41st minute. Juanito Gil came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximino Acedo could save by the left post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dalmacio Dagora sped through SPL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeru Peña. The supporters of Barcelona FC booed when SPL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemencin santillana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Dagora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Zeru Peña made a huge save. Robinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeru Peña having to interfere. Fidencio Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPL's Zeru Peña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SPL from getting a goal against them. Nalo Laredo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Benedicto during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Marcial Benedicto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SPL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barcelona FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barcelona FC.
