FER PLP FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuriko Muelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blanco Manzano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Bergada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind FER PLP FC's goalkeeper Edgard Orozco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FER PLP FC's Mambru Zafrilla got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Iyan Bernal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgard Orozco, 1-0. In the 34th minute, Zuriko Muelas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Herberto Ribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuriko Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Bergada having to interfere. The supporters of FER PLP FC booed when Alquerías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Carreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herberto Ribas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iyan Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Orozco having to interfere. Zuriko Muelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blanco Manzano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Santiago Bergada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes FER PLP FC got a freekick which was hit by Fix Morcego. Abel Campomanes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Blanco Manzano took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Bergada. Santiago Bergada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Abel Campomanes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Santiago Bergada didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Zuriko Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Bergada having to interfere. FER PLP FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
