Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Louis Iglesias got the match started through his kick off. Yvael III's Cristofer Acedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordario Palencia in the 4th minute of play. Rogelio Ribas struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Cristofer Acedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gargantin. Louis Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ander Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veremundo Ricoy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ander Marquez firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 14 played minutes Yvael III got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Luis Raya. After a defensive mix-up in Yvael III's zone, Norberto Domenech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristofer Acedo came out of the goal and Norberto Domenech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veremundo Ricoy scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ander Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sinforiano Raya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ander Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matxin Marcos in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Pepe Fabelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristofer Acedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Beloki in the 38th minute of play. When Sinforiano Raya, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristofer Acedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Gargantin's Rogelio Ribas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristofer Acedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sinforiano Raya was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Matxin Marcos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sinforiano Raya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Gargantin's Cristofer Acedo threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anibal Beloki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matxin Marcos in the 64th minute of play forced Gargantin's goalkeeper Ander Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Rogelio Ribas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristofer Acedo. Yvael III's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Ribas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sinforiano Raya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rogelio Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gargantin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Ribas couldn't finish the play. Rubén Quevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Matxin Marcos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cordario Palencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 82 in the game by Sinforiano Raya from a close distance when the talented Cristofer Acedo managed to make a qualified save. Yvael III's players were relieved. Norberto Domenech kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Yvael III booed when Gargantin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Domenech didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Veremundo Ricoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yvael III's supporters crossed their fingers, but Veremundo Ricoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Ribas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gargantin played a much better game than Yvael III and deserved their victory. The Yvael III players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
