Bartolo Jimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipo Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Evarado Aballe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sant Daniel's Bartolo Jimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Abad Mayor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Evarado Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avellano Acha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abad Mayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avellano Acha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintan Torrente in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Agamenón Leon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cilanco's Avellano Acha. Avellano Acha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abad Mayor was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Sant Daniel getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abad Mayor hit a great ball. Cilanco's Avellano Acha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirino Zapata in the 30th minute of play. When Manolito Cuervas fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cilanco's protests and gave Manolito Cuervas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Cilanco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolito Cuervas to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Sant Daniel's Belo Ruiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Avellano Acha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sant Daniel reached it. The supporters of Cilanco booed when Sant Daniel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintan Torrente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipo Cienfuegos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evarado Aballe in the 41st minute of play forced Sant Daniel's goalkeeper Bartolo Jimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avellano Acha came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sant Daniel's Cirino Zapata. But to his dismay, Cirino Zapata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evarado Aballe was the one to do the kick off. Cilanco's Avellano Acha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cilanco from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Cirino Zapata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sant Daniel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, Cilanco's Avellano Acha got control of the ball when Cirino Zapata tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Felipo Cienfuegos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cilanco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sant Daniel the free kick. The supporters of Sant Daniel booed when Cilanco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipo Cienfuegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th play minute Quintan Torrente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Avellano Acha. 0-4. In the 71stth minute of the game Evarado Aballe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sant Daniel's Bartolo Jimenez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Felipo Cienfuegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cirino Zapata came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sant Daniel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirino Zapata couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipo Cienfuegos in the 83rd minute of play forced Sant Daniel's goalkeeper Bartolo Jimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirino Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Avellano Acha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirino Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avellano Acha made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Quintan Torrente sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sant Daniel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
