The referee showed Aketza Sánchez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes F.C.Barna got a freekick which was hit by Aketza Sánchez. Reinaldo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Macho having to interfere. After 18 played minutes F.C.Barna got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Martinez. In the 21st minute, Guillermo Cerreri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Guillermo Cerreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Ikatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xano Acha in the 25th minute of the match. Marcelino Castelao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Torrubia FC's zone, Reinaldo Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zelipe Macho came out of the goal and Reinaldo Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Cerreri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zelipe Macho having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zelipe Macho. Torrubia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, F.C.Barna's Guillermo Cerreri got a free kick in the 36th minute. F.C.Barna's Cesar Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xano Acha in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xano Acha to make the kick off. Cesar Ikatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abejundio Pedrosa in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abejundio Pedrosa got free with Cesar Ikatz in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C.Barna's Cesar Ikatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Barna from getting a goal against them. Zelipe Macho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Cerreri in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Barna's zone, Abejundio Pedrosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Ikatz came out of the goal and Abejundio Pedrosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Marcelino Castelao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrubia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Castelao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Castelao kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Aketza Sánchez struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zelipe Macho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Barna. The supporters of F.C.Barna booed when Torrubia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Romeo Martinez made a precise shot to the right of Zelipe Macho. Torrubia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 80th minute, Romeo Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Flores hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Juan-Alfredo Noya hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alain Aranzubia didn't quite understand what happened when in the 86 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Guillermo Cerreri managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Barna's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Cerreri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zelipe Macho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Cerreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Macho having to interfere. Zelipe Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
