Abejundio Pedrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Jimenez having to interfere. Pelayo Verdeja's late challenge caught a Sant Daniel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pelayo Verdeja helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Torrubia FC got a freekick which was hit by Pelayo Verdeja. Cirino Zapata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xano Acha in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Jimenez saved Sant Daniel from getting behind. Quintan Torrente struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Zelipe Macho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Daniel. Zelipe Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintan Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 42nd play minutes Xano Acha shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Bartolo Jimenez and just under the crossbar into goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xano Acha made a kick off. Cirino Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Macho having to interfere. Quintan Torrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Xano Acha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Jimenez. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Quintan Torrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Macho having to interfere. Macias Nueva charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macias Nueva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Sant Daniel got a freekick which was hit by Macias Nueva. 71 minutes into the match, Torrubia FC's Medardo Hidalgo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Daniel's zone, Xano Acha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Jimenez came out of the goal and Xano Acha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirino Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Zelipe Macho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Sant Daniel's Quintan Torrente made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zelipe Macho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cirino Zapata struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Zelipe Macho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Daniel. 88 minutes into the game, Marcelino Castelao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torrubia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sant Daniel the free kick. After 88 played minutes Torrubia FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Castelao. 96 minutes into the match, Xano Acha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartolo Jimenez, 1-4. The Torrubia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
