The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olo Bouzon in the 6th minute of play forced Arriba España's goalkeeper Ambrosio Laredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avellano Acha was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Filiberto Toxeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Toxeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Avellano Acha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baraxil Bencoiechea in the 12th minute. Alfons Cabrera hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baraxil Bencoiechea got free with Avellano Acha in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Ignacio Ponce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Avellano Acha. Ignacio Ponce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Arriba España getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Baleren Redondo hit a great ball. If Dalmai Losantos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Arriba España got a freekick which was hit by Montxo Bartumeu. If Ignacio Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraxil Bencoiechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Avellano Acha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfons Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cilanco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Cabrera couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evarado Aballe to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Arriba España's Baraxil Bencoiechea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avellano Acha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Cilanco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olo Bouzon to maneuver through the defense. If Filiberto Toxeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baraxil Bencoiechea came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Arriba España fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baraxil Bencoiechea couldn't finish the play. Avellano Acha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Toxeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Rubio Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avellano Acha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons Cabrera kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Baraxil Bencoiechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avellano Acha having to interfere. Ambrosio Laredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfons Cabrera in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Cilanco's Manolito Cuervas got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jerold Cartagena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avellano Acha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ambrosio Laredo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Evarado Aballe sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cilanco's zone, Ignacio Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avellano Acha came out of the goal and Ignacio Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Arriba España were the better team. Arriba España's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
