The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaitan Elguero in the 6th minute of play forced Robledillo De La Jara's goalkeeper Montxo Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Robledillo De La Jara's goal looked a bit too open when Agusti Sancho came free, but Montxo Mudarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaitan Elguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Galaticos C.F.'s Gaitan Elguero got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Tomualdo Navas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaitan Elguero in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montxo Mudarra saved Robledillo De La Jara from getting behind. After 21 minutes, Lucero Lozano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robledillo De La Jara and the Los Galaticos C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Galaticos C.F. booed when Robledillo De La Jara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaitan Elguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Montxo Mudarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agusti Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montxo Mudarra having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Robledillo De La Jara got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Bastida. 46 minutes into the match, Robledillo De La Jara's goal looked a bit too open when Gaitan Elguero came free, but Montxo Mudarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lucero Lozano made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Patxi Solera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Galaticos C.F. and the Robledillo De La Jara players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, Salomon Serrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Galaticos C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robledillo De La Jara the free kick. A collision led to Los Galaticos C.F. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Salomon Serrano hit a great ball. Tomualdo Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarin Bermejo in the 62nd minute of the match. Gaitan Elguero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Montxo Mudarra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lucero Lozano was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Robledillo De La Jara getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Lucero Lozano hit a great ball. Gaitan Elguero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Montxo Mudarra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Galaticos C.F.. The crowd rose to their feet as Agusti Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Montxo Mudarra. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. With 75 minutes on the clock, Salomon Serrano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Galaticos C.F.! Cordarin Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomualdo Navas having to interfere. With a little luck, Robledillo De La Jara's Montxo Mudarra got control of the ball when Gaitan Elguero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Robledillo De La Jara's goalkeeper Montxo Mudarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Figueroa. After a defensive mix-up in Los Galaticos C.F.'s zone, Cordarin Bermejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomualdo Navas came out of the goal and Cordarin Bermejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
