In the 15th minute, Santiago Gonzáles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Ikatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Romeo Martinez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lluciano Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Reinaldo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluciano Prats having to interfere. Reinaldo Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lluciano Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Cerreri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atletico Visango's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santiago Gonzáles 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Reinaldo Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lluciano Prats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinaldo Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. If Olivar Teruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Romeo Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 54 minutes, Mergildo Antunez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.Barna and the Atletico Visango players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, one of F.C.Barna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C.Barna. F.C.Barna:s Cesar Ikatz showed great skill when he stopped Ponciano Sans:s penalty. Lluciano Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Gonzáles in the 59th minute of play. Atletico Visango's Lluciano Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Cerreri in the 65th minute of play. Romeo Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C.Barna's Guillermo Cerreri got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lluciano Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Martinez in the 76th minute of the match. If Santiago Gonzáles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Teruel in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Visango's zone, Guillermo Cerreri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluciano Prats came out of the goal and Guillermo Cerreri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Visango's goalkeeper Lluciano Prats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Romeo Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C.Barna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Martinez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C.Barna fully deserved thier win.
