In the 20th minute Isidor Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadiz CF's goalkeeper Esteve Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteve Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Menendez in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Isidor Ponce notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cadiz CF's Esteve Delgado. Esteve Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bero Aguilar made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Bravo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Cadiz CF got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Bravo. Esteve Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Menendez in the 53rd minute of play. Isidor Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Esteve Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palma Del Rio booed when Cadiz CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apal Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Bruno Aguilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadiz CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Carlitos Valdés made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Aguilar in the 68th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Bero Aguilar put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Carlitos Valdés. In the 84th minute, García Rojas made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Delgado. Cadiz CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The Palma Del Rio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palma Del Rio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
