Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Fuendejalón FC's Frisco Folch started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Palamós booed when Fuendejalón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ganix Canturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Epicuro Dulce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palamós's supporters rose to their feet, but Epicuro Dulce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco-Antonio Palencia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Jofre's late challenge caught a Palamós's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Jofre helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fuendejalón FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Genaro Jofre hit a great ball. Ramón Ramis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Marco-Antonio Palencia made a huge save. Raymond Montiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Jofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Palamós's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Folch came free, but Raymond Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Palamós's Blas Beloki in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Jofre got free with Raymond Montiel in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raymond Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frisco Folch in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Beloki in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco-Antonio Palencia saved Fuendejalón FC from getting behind. When Frisco Folch fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fuendejalón FC's protests and gave Frisco Folch a yellow card for diving instead. 60 minutes into the match, Palamós's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Folch came free, but Raymond Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62nd play minutes Blas Beloki shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Marco-Antonio Palencia and just under the crossbar into goal. Raymond Montiel made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Genaro Jofre sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Raymond Montiel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 87th match minute, Fuendejalón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frisco Folch to maneuver through the defense. In the 89thth minute of the game Blas Beloki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fuendejalón FC's Marco-Antonio Palencia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Fuendejalón FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palamós from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
