After a rather tough play, Palma Del Rio's Xulio Fuentes got a free kick in the 12th minute. Aurre Beloki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlitos Valdés read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Xulio Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Adelio Hidalgo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palma Del Rio's protests and gave Adelio Hidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. Zacarías Encina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lluciano Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Lluciano Bermejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarías Encina was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Lluciano Bermejo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarías Encina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kemen Olle's late challenge caught a Escaloneta77's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kemen Olle helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Palma Del Rio got a freekick which was hit by Kemen Olle. Musko Clemente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Carlitos Valdés skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute Aurre Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlitos Valdés saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlitos Valdés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurre Beloki in the 34th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Escaloneta77's Erasmo Goyanes tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 55thth minute of the game Lluciano Bermejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escaloneta77's Zacarías Encina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Musko Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lluciano Bermejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarías Encina having to interfere. Erasmo Goyanes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlitos Valdés. Palma Del Rio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Aurre Beloki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Palma Del Rio's Lluciano Bermejo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Aurre Beloki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carlitos Valdés tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurre Beloki in the 69th minute of play forced Palma Del Rio's goalkeeper Carlitos Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlitos Valdés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurre Beloki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Musko Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escaloneta77's supporters crossed their fingers, but Musko Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Palma Del Rio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Escaloneta77. Erasmo Goyanes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlitos Valdés. 1-1. The Palma Del Rio players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Escaloneta77 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
