Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cesaro Diaz kicked off to start the match. Felipe Sanz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Salvador Huarte sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, Ares's Salvador Huarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Atlético Tomelloso got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Veloso. Salvador Huarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Felipe Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ares booed when Atlético Tomelloso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfirio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredo Treviño charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredo Treviño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlético Tomelloso getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fredo Treviño hit a great ball. After 14th play minutes Cesaro Diaz shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Felipe Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 18th minute Salvador Huarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Edgard Andres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredo Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gregorio Vacas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play Atlético Tomelloso's Fredo Treviño was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 30th minute, Fredo Treviño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Cesaro Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Salvador Huarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ares's attentive Mikel Camara managed to snatch the ball when Roberto Saboya made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Ares's Andolin Gonzalez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felipe Sanz but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Saboya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Atlético Tomelloso got a freekick which was hit by Gandolfo Munoz. Goren Pedrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Felipe Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Ares's Cesaro Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Salvador Huarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Gandolfo Munoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Tomelloso and the Ares players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikel Camara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Salvador Huarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ares's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Huarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes of play, Ares's Mikel Camara made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Ares's Goren Pedrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ares booed when Atlético Tomelloso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfirio Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Huarte took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felipe Sanz. Felipe Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 82 minutes into the game, Leal Vazquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Tomelloso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ares the free kick. Leal Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cesaro Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ares booed when Atlético Tomelloso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goren Pedrosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Atlético Tomelloso getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Santiago Veloso hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Salvador Huarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Cesaro Diaz made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Sanz. Atlético Tomelloso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ares's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
