Spectators: 7830 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) RaYo BaYecano's Leon Kiliz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rico Calvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Unesson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Xuoco Companys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raymond Montiel. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Raymond Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Leon Kiliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymond Montiel. Palamós's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Kiliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Xuoco Companys elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raymond Montiel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orlondo Diaz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Ramón Ramis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Unesson having to make a save. After 31 played minutes RaYo BaYecano got a freekick which was hit by Leon Kiliz. In the 39th minute, Orlondo Diaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Montiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Palamós's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Víktor Onopko scored to the left of an out of position Raymond Montiel, making the score, 6-0. After 46 played minutes RaYo BaYecano got a freekick which was hit by Chan Pan. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Raymond Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chan Pan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Orlondo Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Montiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Palamós defense, Orlondo Diaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Montiel. The Palamós fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Montiel should have stopped the shot. Palamós's Raymond Montiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlondo Diaz in the 61st minute of play. Raymond Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Kiliz in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Blas Beloki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Palamós's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Kiliz came free, but Raymond Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Palamós's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Onopko came free, but Raymond Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xuoco Companys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raymond Montiel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Amat Zafrilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RaYo BaYecano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Palamós's Raymond Montiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Kiliz in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuoco Companys in the 96th minute of play forced Palamós's goalkeeper Raymond Montiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the RaYo BaYecano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
