Musko Clemente in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raymond Montiel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 4th minute Rico Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarías Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Escaloneta77's Aurre Beloki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raymond Montiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Palamós's zone, Gabriel Llinares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Montiel came out of the goal and Gabriel Llinares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 10 in the game by Musko Clemente from a close distance when the talented Raymond Montiel managed to make a qualified save. Palamós's players were relieved. After 12 minutes, Lucas Bernal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escaloneta77 and the Palamós players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Escaloneta77:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palamós:s goal. The referee gave Palamós a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blas Beloki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Escaloneta77's Zacarías Encina. 0-1. When Epicuro Dulce fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palamós's protests and gave Epicuro Dulce a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Palamós:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Escaloneta77:s goal. Zacarías Encina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Beloki went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Raymond Montiel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Palamós's Raymond Montiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurre Beloki in the 29th minute of play. Raymond Montiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurre Beloki in the 32nd minute of the match. Aurre Beloki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Raymond Montiel made a huge save. Raymond Montiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurre Beloki, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Escaloneta77's Musko Clemente came free and shot a quick shot against goal 41 minutes in the game, fortunately Raymond Montiel had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Raymond Montiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurre Beloki in the 45th minute of play. Palamós's Raymond Montiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Palamós from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurre Beloki made a kick off. Aristeo Quintanilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Musko Clemente took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Montiel. Raymond Montiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Pierres Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Musko Clemente came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Escaloneta77 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Musko Clemente couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Palamós's goal looked a bit too open when Musko Clemente came free, but Raymond Montiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Escaloneta77's Aurre Beloki made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raymond Montiel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristeo Quintanilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurre Beloki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Raymond Montiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Montiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Musko Clemente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Palamós's zone, Musko Clemente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Montiel came out of the goal and Musko Clemente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aurre Beloki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5-3 became the score in the 89th minute when Aurre Beloki elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Escaloneta77 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palamós for a fine match.
