Amancio Serena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Rivera went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Toño Casta got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin got control of the ball when Nazario Fuente tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Ancla Dosanpor F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Román Torrent to maneuver through the defense. Nazario Fuentes short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Favila Marin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Evaristo Madariaga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gatomatik Hospitalet's Amancio Serena. Amancio Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amancio Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Madariaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Moisés Mata's late challenge caught a Gatomatik Hospitalet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Mata helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Ancla Dosanpor F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Mata. After a rather tough play, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Anatolio Mendez got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gatomatik Hospitalet's Balesio Olmos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Favila Marin but with some difficulty. Favila Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazario Fuente in the 33rd minute of play. Amancio Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Gatomatik Hospitalet's goal looked a bit too open when Anatolio Mendez came free, but Amancio Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nazario Fuente to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Candido Rivera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amancio Serena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Nazario Fuente put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Favila Marin. Moisés Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Serena having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Octavio Quintero notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin. After 62 played minutes, Gatomatik Hospitalet's Canor Paris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Favila Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gatomatik Hospitalet reached it. When Nazario Fuente came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gatomatik Hospitalet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazario Fuente couldn't finish the play. Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Vadillos in the 67th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Candido Rivera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ancla Dosanpor F.C. and the Gatomatik Hospitalet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Candido Rivera got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Moisés Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74thth minute of the game Nazario Fuente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Ancla Dosanpor F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Rivera to maneuver through the defense. Malvin Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The Gatomatik Hospitalet fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Gatomatik Hospitalet's Nazario Fuente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. During the 97th minute of the match Candido Rivera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Candido Rivera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ancla Dosanpor F.C. getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Candido Rivera hit a great ball. Octavio Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Favila Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
