In the 9th minute Leal Viejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Guttenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colas Estrada hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of Anti Chiniestas booed when La Cultu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Camarasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sam Guttenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celio Olle in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Colas Estrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izar Rodriguez during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anti Chiniestas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Izar Rodriguez hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anti Chiniestas's goalkeeper Andrea Garate, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colas Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Garate having to interfere. When Ionel Drâmbă came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the La Cultu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Drâmbă couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, La Cultu's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Viejo came free, but Sam Guttenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrea Garate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Drâmbă, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Anti Chiniestas's Andrea Garate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Drâmbă in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leal Viejo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Izar Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ionel Drâmbă came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the La Cultu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Drâmbă couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes of play, La Cultu's Ionel Drâmbă made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Garate was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leal Viejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Guttenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Colas Estrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cultu's supporters rose to their feet, but Colas Estrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Garate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68thth minute of the game Leal Viejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Cultu's Sam Guttenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leal Viejo in the 71st minute of play forced La Cultu's goalkeeper Sam Guttenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celio Olle kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Ionel Drâmbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Guttenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leal Viejo in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Drâmbă in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Garate saved Anti Chiniestas from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Ionel Drâmbă made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Anti Chiniestas's Andrea Garate tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ionel Drâmbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Colas Estrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Garate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Garate was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
