In the 21st minute of the game Hegoi Mudarra made a throw-in which Anatolio Mendez played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Els Rats Penats's zone, Evaristo Madariaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaro Santiago came out of the goal and Evaristo Madariaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beltza Unzueta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lazaro Santiago. Els Rats Penats's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Els Rats Penats's Baudilio Reina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Favila Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Madariaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Lazaro Santiago made a huge save. Lazaro Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatolio Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Baudilio Reina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Els Rats Penats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baudilio Reina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Els Rats Penats's Lazaro Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatolio Mendez in the 41st minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatolio Mendez made a kick off. Anatolio Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute of the match Eron Calatayud sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Favila Marin skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Anatolio Mendez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazaro Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Evaristo Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Santiago having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Anatolio Mendez made a precise shot to the right of Lazaro Santiago. Els Rats Penats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatolio Mendez in the 67th minute of play forced Els Rats Penats's goalkeeper Lazaro Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Anatolio Mendez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lazaro Santiago. Els Rats Penats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anatolio Mendez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Els Rats Penats's Lazaro Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatolio Mendez in the 73rd minute of play. Els Rats Penats's Baudilio Reina got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ancla Dosanpor F.C.'s Favila Marin got control of the ball when Baudilio Reina tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Min Escobar fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Els Rats Penats's protests and gave Min Escobar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Els Rats Penats getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Min Escobar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatolio Mendez in the 83rd minute of play forced Els Rats Penats's goalkeeper Lazaro Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baudilio Reina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Favila Marin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Baudilio Reina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Favila Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Min Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Favila Marin having to interfere. When Etxahun Nieto fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Els Rats Penats's protests and gave Etxahun Nieto a yellow card for diving instead. Etxahun Nieto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Els Rats Penats's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
