In the 3rd minute, Xusto De Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Cultu's Ionel Drâmbă came free and shot a quick shot against goal 4 minutes in the game, fortunately Gaizka Zapata had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 4 played minutes A Gudiña got a freekick which was hit by Xusto De Silva. 17 minutes into the match, A Gudiña's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Drâmbă came free, but Gaizka Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xamo Sirvent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colas Estrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gaizka Zapata made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, La Cultu's Colas Estrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaizka Zapata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a little luck, A Gudiña's Gaizka Zapata got control of the ball when Toribio Estrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ionel Drâmbă took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Gaizka Zapata to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Drâmbă in the 40th minute of play forced A Gudiña's goalkeeper Gaizka Zapata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionel Drâmbă in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizka Zapata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patxi Abril's late challenge caught a A Gudiña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patxi Abril helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes La Cultu got a freekick which was hit by Patxi Abril. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ionel Drâmbă made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Colas Estrada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Cultu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Amancio Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A Gudiña's Gaizka Zapata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaizka Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Estrada in the 58th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, La Cultu's Ionel Drâmbă made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaizka Zapata was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, A Gudiña's goal looked a bit too open when Ionel Drâmbă came free, but Gaizka Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaizka Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Drâmbă in the 69th minute of play. When Nicanor Cayuela came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the A Gudiña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Cayuela couldn't finish the play. Diego Losantos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, La Cultu's Colas Estrada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaizka Zapata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When Amancio Gabirel came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the La Cultu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Gabirel couldn't finish the play. La Cultu's Sam Guttenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save La Cultu from getting a goal against them. Toribio Estrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the La Cultu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
