The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Normando Aizpurua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Waclaw Lewkowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Taio Herrero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SK Telecom T1's Fagondo Calderon. Fagondo Calderon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, SK Telecom T1's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Sugoi came free, but Fagondo Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Raphael in the 21st minute of play forced SK Telecom T1's goalkeeper Fagondo Calderon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waclaw Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pancracio Alfaro in the 24th minute of the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Normando Aizpurua from a close distance when the talented Waclaw Lewkowicz managed to make a qualified save. Vilarelho F.C's players were relieved. Fagondo Calderon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Raphael in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Raphael in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fagondo Calderon saved SK Telecom T1 from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Vilarelho F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pancracio Alfaro came free, but Waclaw Lewkowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pancracio Alfaro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waclaw Lewkowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waclaw Lewkowicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvano Mudarra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. After some careless play in the SK Telecom T1 defense, Taio Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fagondo Calderon. The SK Telecom T1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fagondo Calderon should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Prospero Sugoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fagondo Calderon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 46th match minute, Vilarelho F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taio Herrero to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pancracio Alfaro to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Vilarelho F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esdras Clemente to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Carlo Munoz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fagondo Calderon. The goal made the score 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dubardo Carmona during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SK Telecom T1 booed when Vilarelho F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dubardo Carmona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Raphael in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 81st minute, Clemente Raphael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fagondo Calderon. The goal made the score 1-5. With his leg Fagondo Calderon managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Vilarelho F.C's Clemente Raphael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 89th minute, SK Telecom T1's Eriz Llorente seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eriz Llorente the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Telecom T1 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eriz Llorente had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of SK Telecom T1:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vilarelho F.C:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fagondo Calderon, was totally fooled by Vilarelho F.C's Prospero Sugoi, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Clemente Raphael had several of the SK Telecom T1's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Fagondo Calderon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fagondo Calderon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Raphael in the 97th minute.
