Nabar Acarreta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fagondo Calderon having to make a save. In the game's 46th minute Guaza's Nabar Acarreta took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Fagondo Calderon and thus the score was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pancracio Alfaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Cucao Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaza and the SK Telecom T1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SK Telecom T1 booed when Guaza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cucao Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guaza's zone, Normando Aizpurua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beila Sacristán came out of the goal and Normando Aizpurua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pancracio Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Normando Aizpurua scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beila Sacristán, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Troy Baños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SK Telecom T1's Fagondo Calderon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SK Telecom T1 from getting a goal against them. When Normando Aizpurua came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SK Telecom T1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normando Aizpurua couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancracio Alfaro in the 84th minute of play forced Guaza's goalkeeper Beila Sacristán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normando Aizpurua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Normando Aizpurua in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beila Sacristán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SK Telecom T1 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
