The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Orexa's Gilesindo Borrás broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Llin Cainzos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Nevada Baeza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Duarte Nobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nevada Baeza kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Morenilla AFC booed when Orexa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospin Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arlo Cañadas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfronso Climent's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Orexa's goal looked a bit too open when Nevada Baeza came free, but Duarte Nobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfronso Climent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morenilla AFC's Nevada Baeza got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Rossello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Nobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Baeza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ospin Lorenzo's late challenge caught a Morenilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ospin Lorenzo helped the player get up and apologised. Ospin Lorenzo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alfronso Climent made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nemesio Rossello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Nobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Santander hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Ospin Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Belarmo Aceves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Orexa's Duarte Nobo didn't even have to move. A collision led to Orexa getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ospin Lorenzo hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Alfronso Climent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlo Cañadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xandro Crespo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramón Verdaguer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Nevada Baeza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morenilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nevada Baeza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Nevada Baeza made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Orexa's Duarte Nobo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Morenilla AFC's Nemesio Rossello got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
