Cayetano Grau started the match with the kick off. Freddy Cuervas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Delmiro Alacuart sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canastell's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Demetrio Moreno was slow to take the kick. During this time Alirón Furgol Clus's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Delmiro Alacuart to score against Freddy Cuervas in Canastell's goal. 1-0 after 5 minutes. After a rather tough play, Canastell's Cayetano Grau got a free kick in the 9th minute. With an all-out effort, Alirón Furgol Clus's Freddy Cuervas threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ximo Jauregui, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 13 minutes, Xicu Coya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canastell and the Alirón Furgol Clus players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Grau in the 19th minute of play forced Alirón Furgol Clus's goalkeeper Omar Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Alirón Furgol Clus booed when Canastell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Cayuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Alirón Furgol Clus's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Benítez came free, but Omar Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alirón Furgol Clus getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benito Costa hit a great ball. Cayetano Grau succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Omar Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Grau's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Delmiro Alacuart came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Freddy Cuervas could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Alirón Furgol Clus's Delmiro Alacuart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Canastell's goalkeeper Freddy Cuervas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Alacuart. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ximo Jauregui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Cuervas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canastell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Freddy Cuervas had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Demetrio Moreno's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cayetano Grau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Cruz having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Alirón Furgol Clus's zone, Pau Olmos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Cruz came out of the goal and Pau Olmos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 minutes of play, Alirón Furgol Clus's Ximo Jauregui made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Cuervas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Cuervas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Alacuart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes, Xulian Cacheres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alirón Furgol Clus and the Canastell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xulian Cacheres hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mauricio Cayuela struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Omar Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canastell. When Rutenio Mudarra fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alirón Furgol Clus's protests and gave Rutenio Mudarra a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Alirón Furgol Clus got a freekick which was hit by Rutenio Mudarra. Cayetano Grau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Cruz having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Ximo Jauregui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Cuervas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Canastell getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Castel Bergada hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Canastell defense, Rutenio Mudarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Cuervas. The Canastell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Cuervas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximo Jauregui in the 97th minute of play forced Canastell's goalkeeper Freddy Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Canastell's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Canastell may have spent more time on the ball, but Alirón Furgol Clus were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
