Villena CF's Ansuro Bargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Villena CF from getting a goal against them. Ansuro Bargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Dean in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colon Bermudez in the 19th minute of play forced Villena CF's goalkeeper Ansuro Bargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match, Victorino Dean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ansuro Bargas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Villena CF's Ansuro Bargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Villena CF from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidor Ocaña got free with Ansuro Bargas in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrin De Paula charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrin De Paula the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Villena CF booed when Vicuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrin De Paula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicuña's Tabb Rubio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Villena CF defense, Victorino Dean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ansuro Bargas. The Villena CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ansuro Bargas should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Dean couldn't finish the play. Villena CF's Ansuro Bargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidor Ocaña in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Vicuña were the better team. Vicuña's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
