The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lope Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guifre Gómez in the 3rd minute of play. Octavian Van Der Weghen made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when David Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. With 6 minutes on the clock, Arnoldo Dean commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. ESPEIN 2011:s Lope Mangas showed great skill when he stopped Ametz Arratia:s penalty. In the 10th minute, Baldemar Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves David Ramirez could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Octavian Van Der Weghen however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 15 in the game by Baldemar Escobar from a close distance when the talented Octavian Van Der Weghen managed to make a qualified save. JB CF's players were relieved. Baldemar Escobar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Octavian Van Der Weghen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Baldemar Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ESPEIN 2011 booed when JB CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerico Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lope Mangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrin Manrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Riba in the 26th minute of play forced ESPEIN 2011's goalkeeper Lope Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JB CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ametz Arratia in the 27th minute. The corner led JB CF's Ametz Arratia to fire away a dangerous shot which Lope Mangas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ESPEIN 2011's zone, Guifre Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lope Mangas came out of the goal and Guifre Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the JB CF defense, Baldemar Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Van Der Weghen. The JB CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Van Der Weghen should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Baldemar Escobar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavian Van Der Weghen. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Lope Mangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guifre Gómez in the 53rd minute of the match. Pau Riba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lope Mangas having to make a save. 62 minutes into the game, Baldemar Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Octavian Van Der Weghen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavian Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldemar Escobar in the 68th minute of the match. JB CF made a substitution. Lico Mora replaced Esteban Talavera. Guifre Gómez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Lope Mangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guifre Gómez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lope Mangas was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Jerico Infante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerico Infante really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 95th minute, Pau Riba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of JB CF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. JB CF may have spent more time on the ball, but ESPEIN 2011 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
