Roberts Lewandowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gregorio Bouzon. Valencia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 46th minute, Felip Buenafuente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gata de Cueva CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Killian Mbappè stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josu Cabada's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. If Rodrigo Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
