In the 9th minute Abad Nafría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Cabada in the 10th minute of play forced San García's goalkeeper Ascencio Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Diez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Lope Mangas made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lico Gomar during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ascencio Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Cabada in the 16th minute of the match. If Leandro Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes ESPEIN 2011 got a freekick which was hit by Baldemar Escobar. Abad Nafría struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ascencio Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESPEIN 2011. In the 62nd minute, ESPEIN 2011's Marco Cabada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ascencio Medina. Ascencio Medina yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After having played for 65 minutes, Leandro Diez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casado Armada hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Valentín Urbina hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in San García's zone, Baldemar Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ascencio Medina came out of the goal and Baldemar Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, San García was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierres Ecija to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Dean came free in the 80th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ascencio Medina, but to the joy of San García's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After 81 played minutes San García got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Diez. ESPEIN 2011's Lope Mangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Diez in the 84th minute of play. Lope Mangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Diez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
