The supporters of Gata de Cueva CF booed when JB CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ametz Arratia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felip Buenafuente in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Van Der Weghen saved JB CF from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Pau Riba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Killian Mbappè. The goal made the score 2-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Pau Riba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JB CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Riba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pau Riba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in JB CF's zone, Isidoro Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Van Der Weghen came out of the goal and Isidoro Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pau Riba to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Pau Riba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JB CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Riba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guifre Gómez struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Killian Mbappè didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JB CF. Pau Riba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JB CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
