After 11 played minutes Real Infiesto C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Policarpio Zárate. In the 16th minute Luis Nueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, El Ligallo's goalkeeper Rufino Tobia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Alarcon. In the 20th minute Santana Macías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Iosu Unzueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Ligallo's Rufino Tobia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Nueva struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lesardo Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Ligallo. After a rather tough play, El Ligallo's Mancio Gibert got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Santana Macías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lesardo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosu Unzueta in the 42nd minute of play forced El Ligallo's goalkeeper Rufino Tobia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Ligallo's Rufino Tobia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save El Ligallo from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Nueva to strike the kick off in the second half. Blai Puyol didn't quite understand what happened when in the 55 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santana Macías got free with Lesardo Varela in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 60 played minutes El Ligallo got a freekick which was hit by Mancio Gibert. Lesardo Varela made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Santana Macías sent off a good shot on target. Rufino Tobia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosu Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes, Elixio Llorente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Ligallo and the Real Infiesto C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Ligallo's Rufino Tobia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosu Unzueta in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of El Ligallo booed when Real Infiesto C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edorta Pedrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Alarcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Infiesto C.F.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
