The supporters of Vetas Heart & Blood booed when Valencia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Verdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Josete Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Toni had several of the Valencia FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Gregorio Bouzon as he didn't even see the shot coming.

They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vetas Heart & Blood.
