Felip Buenafuente started the match with the kick off. Killian Mbappè took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Cabada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gata de Cueva CF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Felip Buenafuente hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Gata de Cueva CF's Felip Buenafuente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lope Mangas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Xarles Balcells hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Killian Mbappè showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Cabada, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Figueroa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gata de Cueva CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESPEIN 2011 the free kick. In the 31st minute Marco Cabada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Killian Mbappè saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Marco Cabada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldemar Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Killian Mbappè having to interfere. Marco Cabada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Killian Mbappè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marco Cabada made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Gata de Cueva CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Lope Mangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felip Buenafuente in the 64th minute of the match. Napoleón Castelao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Killian Mbappè. Gata de Cueva CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, ESPEIN 2011's Marco Cabada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Killian Mbappè narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match Napoleón Castelao shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Killian Mbappè showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marco Cabada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Killian Mbappè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Killian Mbappè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Cabada in the 74th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Marco Cabada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Killian Mbappè was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Gata de Cueva CF's Roberts Lewandowski got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to ESPEIN 2011 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Napoleón Castelao hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Marco Cabada notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gata de Cueva CF's Killian Mbappè. Killian Mbappè was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the ESPEIN 2011 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
