Vitoria-Gasteiz's Nastasio Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Machado Santiago in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vitoria-Gasteiz's Dalmu Alarcon got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Bautista Armada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute Machado Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Carreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Machado Santiago made a kick off. Can Ros's Machado Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Pascual charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Nastasio Carreira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Can Ros's Machado Santiago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nastasio Carreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Regis Radaban charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee ended the match the Can Ros players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
