The referee gave Estrella Roja Karabanchel a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximino Ferrer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bergara KE's Goi Pareja. 0-1. After 20 played minutes, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Maximino Ferrer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Goi Pareja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estrella Roja Karabanchel reached it. Evarado Alcalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Encina having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Paco Candela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella Roja Karabanchel's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Candela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goi Pareja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingo Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goalkeeper Sebastián Encina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Ricoy. With a little luck, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Sebastián Encina got control of the ball when Remigio Ricoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Mosen Gala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paco Candela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Estrella Roja Karabanchel got a freekick which was hit by Paco Candela. Toribio Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Goi Pareja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bergara KE's zone, Domingo Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goi Pareja came out of the goal and Domingo Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Evarado Alcalde fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergara KE's protests and gave Evarado Alcalde a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Bergara KE got a freekick which was hit by Evarado Alcalde. Sebastián Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koldo Baeza in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyo Ucero in the 70th minute of play forced Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goalkeeper Sebastián Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyo Ucero in the 73rd minute of the match. If Domingo Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koldo Baeza hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Domingo Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goi Pareja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Toribio Parra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Maximino Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paco Candela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Goi Pareja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oto Amorebieta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Paco Candela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Goi Pareja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estrella Roja Karabanchel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
