Bartolo Planes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josete Bueno went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Benigno Lacorte made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Claudio Valerón sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Gizon Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Planes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josete Bueno in the 40th minute of play. Bartolo Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josete Bueno in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nastic's zone, Josete Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Planes came out of the goal and Josete Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nastic's Bartolo Planes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josete Bueno in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Claudio Valerón made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gizon Cano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucis Augusti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gizon Cano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Planes came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucis Augusti's Fe Quintanilla. But to his dismay, Fe Quintanilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Abelardo Losada's late challenge caught a Lucis Augusti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Losada helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lucis Augusti booed when Nastic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Losada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gizon Cano in the 67th minute of the match. Bartolo Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gizon Cano in the 72nd minute of play. Lucis Augusti's Benigno Lacorte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Valerón in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josete Bueno got free with Bartolo Planes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Claudio Valerón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Benigno Lacorte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benigno Lacorte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Valerón, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bartolo Planes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josete Bueno in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Nastic's Bartolo Planes got control of the ball when Josete Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Abelardo Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nastic had won after a very even match.
