Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paco Candela started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Maximino Ferrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gabi Serrano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastián Encina. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 8th minute Etxeberri Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Estrella Roja Karabanchel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Candela to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Paco Candela made a precise shot to the right of Oto Baños. Altea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Toribio Parra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrella Roja Karabanchel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Izaguirre in the 21st minute of play forced Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goalkeeper Sebastián Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Oscar Rivera took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Sebastián Encina to make any attempt to save it. Oto Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mosen Gala in the 31st minute of play. Sebastián Encina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Sebastián Encina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etxeberri Hevia in the 39th minute of play. Oto Baños showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Candela in the 41st minute of the match. Saul Revuelta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Saul Revuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Rivera was the one to do the kick off. Sebastián Encina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rivera in the 54th minute of play. Etxeberri Hevia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mosen Gala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oto Baños came out and tried to block the shot, but Mosen Gala slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 62nd minute. The throw-in from Martino Carballeira in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Mosen Gala. In the 70th minute Mosen Gala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oto Baños saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Paco Candela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oto Baños. Oto Baños yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. After some careless play in the Estrella Roja Karabanchel defense, Oscar Rivera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Encina. The Estrella Roja Karabanchel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Encina should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Rivera in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastián Encina saved Estrella Roja Karabanchel from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Oscar Rivera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-5. When Altea's Samuel Izaguirre in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goalie prevented a goal. Altea's Oto Baños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Candela in the 93rd minute of play. Sebastián Encina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estrella Roja Karabanchel getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mosen Gala hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Oscar Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
