Costante Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldán Coira having to interfere. The White Bats players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Ermita AFC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karlo Solera made a kick off. With an all-out effort, La Ermita AFC's Severo Pantoja threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Garaona Orbiz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute Karlo Solera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roldán Coira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tauro Paz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the La Ermita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauro Paz couldn't finish the play. If Garaona Orbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Garaona Orbiz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the La Ermita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garaona Orbiz couldn't finish the play. Karlo Solera struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Roldán Coira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Bats. 88 minutes into the match, La Ermita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karlo Solera came free, but Roldán Coira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The White Bats supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Ermita AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for La Ermita AFC.
