In the 12th minute, Paredes's Sotil Elias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute Evarado Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bergara KE booed when Paredes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llorienzo Avila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Sotil Elias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play Paredes's Llorienzo Avila was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd match minute, Paredes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorienzo Avila to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Ucero in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Ricoy got free with Felipe Nieto in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Paredes's Felipe Nieto got control of the ball when Evarado Alcalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bergara KE were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paredes side.
